Zeigler Auto Group Announces Grand Opening for Zeigler Subaru of Schererville, Formerly Zeigler Subaru of Merrillville

Zeigler Auto Group today announced that Zeigler Subaru of Merrillville has changed its name and location to Zeigler Subaru of Schererville and will now be located at 6000 Lincoln Highway. The new facility was built to new Subaru specifications boasting state-of-the-art amenities to ensure the best customer experience. The grand opening for Zeigler Subaru of Schererville will be held Monday, May 6, 2024 with president and COO of Subaru of America Jeff Walters attending. 

Free, Family-friendly Zeigler Kalamazoo Marathon Weekend Coming Up May 4-5th, 2024

Zeigler Kalamazoo Marathon’s 2024 family-friendly weekend will include a free two-day Ascension Borgess Health & Wellness Expo and free PNC Kids’ 1K. The Marathon’s paid events include the Full Marathon, Marathon Relay, Half Marathon,10K, and 5K run/walk on Sunday May 5th. The free Expo will be Saturday, May 4, 2024 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.; and Sunday, May 5, 2024 from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The weekend will feature over 50 vendors, an obstacle course, food trucks, demos, DJ, live music, spirit stations, and more.

The Kalamazoo-based dealer group will serve as co-primary sponsor for Carson Hocevar of Spire Motorsports in the NASCAR Cup Series on Sunday. Hocevar will pilot the No. 77 Ganibridge/Zeigler Auto Group Chevrolet Camaro. Also driving a Zeigler-sponsored Camaro is Josh Bilicki for DGM Racing, who will be behind the wheel of No. 92 during the Xfinity race on Saturday.

Zeigler Auto Group Kicks Off 5th Annual Ugly Sweater Holiday Canned Food Drive

For the fifth consecutive year, Zeigler Auto Group is hosting its Ugly Sweater Holiday Canned Food Drive in benefit of local charities in the community. The food drive kicks off today and will run through December 22, 2023, with all Zeigler dealership stores participating. Each individual store will choose its own local beneficiary and is now accepting donations from the public. Starting today, customers can stop by their favorite Zeigler store and drop off non-perishable food items. Last year, Mercedes-Benz of Hoffman Estates took home the big win, for a third year in a row, with an impressive 6,039 items donated. Overall in 2022, Zeigler Auto Group collected 29,195  items for local organizations across four states with special participation from NASCAR driver Josh BIlicki.

The deal–which closed yesterday, Wednesday, July 12, 2023–also included Zeigler’s third Nissan store, renamed Zeigler Nissan of Holland; second Hyundai purchase, renamed Zeigler Hyundai of Holland; and second GMC dealership, set to be renamed Zeigler GMC of Holland. For the fourth consecutive year, Zeigler Auto Group is hosting its Ugly Sweater Holiday Canned Food Drive in benefit of local charities in the community. The food drive kicks off  today and will run through December 21, 2022, with all Zeigler dealership stores participating. Each individual store will choose its own local beneficiary and is now accepting donations from the public. Starting today, customers can stop by their favorite Zeigler store and drop off non-perishable food items. Last year, Mercedes-Benz of Hoffman Estates took home the big win, for a second year in a row, with an impressive 7,000 items donated. Overall in 2021, Zeigler Auto Group collected 15,465 items for local organizations across four states.

Zach Cardis Earns Second Consecutive Win At 11th Annual Product Knowledge Competition

Subaru of Merrillville Donates over $3,000 to Salk Elementary School

For the second year in a row, Subaru of Merrillville has chosen Salk Elementary as the beneficiary of its Subaru Loves Learning program. The Subaru Loves Learning program is in partnership with AdoptAClassroom.org, with Subaru as its largest corporate supporter. Through the Subaru Loves Learning program Subaru of Merrillville donated over $3,000, around $500 per box to the local school. This is the second year in a row where the local elementary school was chosen. The Zeigler Subaru dealership has additionally pledged to donate to the school next year for 2023.

The Zeigler Kalamazoo Marathon today announced course details for its Full Marathon, marking its big return on Sunday, April 23 at 7:30 a.m. after three years. As a USATF Certified Course, the Zeigler Kalamazoo Marathon will serve as a qualifier for the Boston Marathon. The organization also announced course details for its Zeigler Half Marathon, 10K and 5K, all scheduled to take place on Sunday, April 23, 2023 at 7:30 a.m., 7:55 a.m. and 8:00 a.m., respectively. The Zeigler Kalamazoo Marathon Wins at Driving A Healthy Community

The Zeigler Kalamazoo Marathon returned this past weekend as a huge success with nearly 2,000 registered runners, family-friendly activities; and crowd favorites that included the Bacon Station and the Gummy Bear Forest. The PNC Kids 1K kicked off the event weekend Friday with nearly 600 kids participating. Saturday, Downtown Kalamazoo was host to the Kalamazoo Health Expo with tons of family-friendly activities, booths displaying event sponsors and charity partners; and a meet and greet with NASCAR driver Josh Bilicki. The main event races were held Sunday which included the half marathon,10K, 5K Run, and the Priority Health 5K Walk.

Zeigler’s third annual Ugly Sweater Canned Food Drive, which started November 15, will run through December 18, 2021 in benefit of local charities in the community. The Kalamazoo-based dealer announced that all of its stores will be participating in the food drive with donations going to each store’s choice of local organization. Last year, Mercedes-Benz of Hoffman Estates took home the big win with an impressive 5,000 items collected, with the entire dealer group collecting a grand total of 13,500 items overall.

Zeigler Awards $100,000 in Scholarships to Employees & Their Families for the Second Year in a Row

Today Zeigler Automotive Group announced that it will be purchasing three new luxury dealerships in Schaumburg and Hoffman Estates: Mercedes-Benz and Sprinter of Hoffman Estates at 1000 W. Golf Road, Jaguar Land Rover Schaumburg at 920 W. Golf Road, and INFINITI of Hoffman Estates at 1075 W. Golf Road. This marks the group’s largest acquisition in history with the addition of 5,000 new units per year projected at $350 million in yearly sales -- bringing the group's total to $1.7 billion per year on 40,000 units. Zeigler will take over operations on Monday, January 20, 2020.

Zeigler Auto Group, one of the largest auto groups in the nation has officially purchased Rosen Nissan in Gurnee, Illinois. The auto group now owns and operates 20 auto dealerships and 55 franchises in Michigan, Illinois, Indiana and New York, as well as three finance companies, several insurance agencies, a leasing firm and a comprehensive real estate portfolio. Rosen Nissan reopened under Zeigler name on September 16th, and Carlos Uribe will serve as general manager of the store.
