Mari Dangerfield is an alternative/electropop artist/producer from London. With a knack for fragile songs bursting with originality, her sound is consequently hard to define. With songwriting as her tool for figuring out life, her productions are characterised by rich vocal harmonies, catchy hooks and cinematic arrangements. To date, she has received support from BBC Radio 6, RTE, Fresh On The Net and The Frank Skinner Show as well as a range of independent media. In 2022 she signed to London-based indie label Dimple Discs who released her debut album 'Love And Other Machines.' She released her new disco/dance infused EP 'Eco-Fever', about the climate crisis, in June 2023 with several live dates in London and Bristol in full swing.
Mari began her journey into pop music after entering a competition run by MUTE records for French composer Yann Tiersen to promote his album, EUSA. She won it with a video of herself covering ‘Porz Goret’ on London’s Parliament Hill and ‘multi-tracking’ a Stylophone S-1.
