The Off Road and Adventure Club (ORAC) is one of the sections of the Ras al Hamra Recreation Club and is located in Muscat, Oman.

ORAC – Off-Road Adventure Club is one of Oman’s most varied off-road clubs, offering family friendly adventures in the Desert, Mountains, and Wadis of Oman. Based in Muscat and run by dedicated volunteers, ORAC organises regular weekend trips suitable for all experience levels, as well as hands-on sand driving training to build skills and confidence in the sand.

We’re best known for hosting The Wahiba Challenge, one of the most recognised and respected desert crossing events in the GCC along with the more demanding Extreme Wahiba Challenge for seasoned drivers.

ORAC promotes safe, responsible off-roading through practical training, environmental awareness, and a strong community spirit. Whether you're exploring Oman’s stunning landscapes with your family or testing your endurance in the dunes, ORAC offers something for every off-road enthusiast.
