I Quiet Confusion nascono nel 2009 come rock'n'roll/stoner/heavy blues band.
Il primo Ep esce nel 2010 e il primo album autoprodotto “Jungle” viene registrato nell’inverno 2011 e pubblicato nel 2012. Da questo primo lavoro viene scelto “Rock till i ride”, primo singolo/video che ottiene un discreto successo dal pubblico. Nel 2013 firmano per Go Down Records e pubblicano il loro secondo lavoro “Commodor” nel 2014, con il singolo “Livin’with the sun”. Il disco viene registrato in presa diretta al Mellowsong studio e prodotto da Max Ear (OJM, Ananda Mida). Questo secondo lavoro ottiene una buona risposta che porta la band ad esibirsi in importanti festival come lo Sherwood, l’Home e il Maximum Festival, e a condividere il palco con artisti come DEAD MEADOW, DANKO JONES, NICK OLIVERI, LEIGHTON KOYZUMI, BRANT BYORK, NEBULA, CONAN, STONED JESUS, MARGARITA WITCH CULT, MR. BISON, LORDS OF ALTAMONT, PARKER GRIGS, SEAN WHEELER.
Nel 2017 la band si riorganizza e pubblica il terzo lavoro come power duo, “China Pensionne”.
Nel 2021 viene pubblicato il nuovo singolo registrato live “Wastin’time” che ha anticipato l'uscita di "Magella", quarto e ultimo disco pubblicato dalla band per Go Down Records il 15 Luglio 2022.

Quiet confusion are a rock'n'roll/stoner/heavy-blues band formed in Verona, Italy in 2009.
They release their first EP in 2010 and soon after they release their first full length self-produced album "Jungle", recorded in the winter of 2011 and released in 2012. The single from the LP is "Rock till I ride" whose video gets them some discreet success.
In 2013 the group signs with Go Down Records and releases their second album "Commodor" in 2014, with "Livin' with the sun" as its single. The LP was recorded live at the Mellowsong studio and produced by Max Ear (OJM, Ananda Mida). The album gets a good response from the public which leads them to perform in important festivals like Sherwood, the Home festival and the Maximum festival, and to share the stage with artists like DEAD MEADOW, DANKO JONES, NICK OLIVERI, LEIGHTON KOYZUMI, BRANT BYORK, NEBULA, CONAN, STONED JESUS, MARGARITA WITCH CULT, MR. BISON, LORDS OF ALTAMONT, PARKER GRIGS, SEAN WHEELER
In 2017 the band rearranges their lineup and release "China Pensionne" as a power duo.
In 2021 the new single recorded live "Wastin'time" was released which anticipated the release of "Magella", the fourth and last album released by the band for Go Down Records on July 15, 2022.

Il nostro ultimo lavoro “Magella” è un mix di stoner rock di stampo seventies caratterizzato da riffs scarni, fuzzosi e cavalcate psychedeliche.
É un disco registrato alla “vecchia maniera” con l’intento di racchiudere la compattezza e la dirompenza delle sonorità live, rievocando una modalità di fare dischi lontana dalle logiche di mercato ma allo stesso tempo estremamente sincera. Il nome è un omaggio alla libertà e alla volontà di esplorare mondi sonori in modo istintivo, autentico e libero.
La band, in formato power trio, vede Antonio Cortina alla voce/chitarra e le new entry Roberto Panarotto al basso e Giovanni Franceschini alla batteria che hanno spostato la ritmica e il mood, verso territori più groovy/psych, con una spiccata tendenza all’improvvisazione.
Questo quarto album è stato registrato in presa diretta presso i MellowSong studios di Paolo Camponogara, nell’inverno del 2021. 🤘
Dal dicembre 2022 si è aggiunto alla band Jacopo Castellani in qualità di secondo chitarrista e polistrumentista.

Our latest work "Magella" is a mix of seventies-style stoner rock characterized by sparse, fuzzy riffs and psychedelic rides.
It is a record recorded in the "old way" with the intention of enclosing the compactness and disruptiveness of live sounds, recalling a way of making records far from the logic of the market but at the same time extremely sincere. The name is a tribute to freedom and the will to explore sound worlds in an instinctive, authentic and free way.
The band, in power trio format, features Antonio Cortina on vocals/guitar and the new entries Roberto Panarotto on bass and Giovanni Franceschini on drums who have moved the rhythm and mood towards more groovy/psych territories, with a marked tendency towards improvisation .
This fourth album was recorded live at Paolo Camponogara's MellowSong studios, in the winter of 2021. 🤘
Since December 2022, Jacopo Castellani has joined the band as second guitarist and multi-instrumentalist.
