Scotty’s Rugby is more than an invitational rugby team it’s a community united by purpose.

Founded in 2014, our self-funded men’s, women’s and veterans squads travel across the UK and beyond, competing in rugby tournaments while raising vital funds and awareness for Scotty’s, the military bereavement charity.

Scotty’s was founded in 2010 by Army widow Nikki Scott after the death of her husband, Corporal Lee Scott, in Afghanistan. What began as Scotty’s Little Soldiers, supporting bereaved military children, has grown into a charity that now supports anyone affected by military-connected bereavement, while keeping children at the heart of everything it does.

Every Scotty’s Rugby player pays their own way, meaning every pound raised goes directly to helping bereaved military families access the support, opportunities and community they deserve.

We believe rugby has the power to bring people together. Through our shared passion for the game, we’re building a community that stands alongside Scotty’s as it grows raising awareness, creating lifelong friendships and ensuring no bereaved forces family faces their journey alone.
