London-based DJ and producer Tetrah makes innovative and compelling Deep Dubstep tracks that are rapidly gaining traction with the U.K. music community. His sound is experimental, weighty, and full of the dark energy required to grab EDM fans by the soul. Tetrah's previous releases and labels include “Subatomic” (Subworld Audio), Program Error (Blackfox Records), “Hear You Now” (Abysmal Entities), “Back Track” (Abysmal Entities), “Soul at Hazard” (Sublimated Sounds), “Gunslinger/Off The Record” (Stance Audio), and “War of the Six Cities” (SUBgarden). Tetrah works as a solo artist, using a blend of hardware and software synthesizers to achieve his creative vision. He’s taken influence from artists like Kemel, Rob Data, Konflict, Optical, Ed Rush, Bad Company, Prodigy, Alex Reece, Anthill Mob, Dem 2, Ascend & Ultravibe, 2 Bad Mice, Dillinja, Dom & Roland, Dr S Gachet, Q-Project, J Majik and Omni Trio and turned it into original music that stands on its artistic own and never becomes derivative. Tetrah began DJing in high school and then moved into music production in an effort to recreate the sounds he heard at raves. Jungle and Drum & Bass came first, followed by 2-Step Garage Music. Coming of age in the city that originated these styles put him in direct contact with the music, its culture, and the people who created it all. He raved in darkened, underground venues where sensory input was reduced to loud, intense music and the sound system that played it. These experiences give Tetrah a ground-floor authenticity few artists can match. Dubstep became part of his life the moment he heard it at a club in Shoreditch called Plastic People. The people and the vibes pulled him in and made him want to play his own tracks for people on big rigs in dark spaces. Now, he’s a vital, emerging artist in his own right who believes good music speaks for itself and wants fans to discover his work organically, the way he found his own inspirations. Tetrah makes music with real emotion, unique sounds, and a mature artist’s sense of space. He’s aiming to become one of the most important electronic musicians on the modern scene and all dance music aficionados need to hear him tonight.
