Stefan J Schaffeld is a Dutch visual artist, practice-led researcher, socially engaged practitioner, and professional art therapist. He holds a BA in Fine Art (UCA) and an MA in Intercultural Practices (CSM, UAL). Their main interest resides in exploring encounters through art-based intra-actions as an empathic and critical social practice of affect. Through their collaborative works and installations, they address how these encounters are mediated by our social and cultural expectations, enabling an attitude of care.
