Creativity and innovation require an investment in workplace culture

Want to avoid “quiet quitting”? Then work with us to cultivate a community that helps all three generations within your workforce feel seen, heard, and valued.

As we all get back to the office, what are you doing to foster intergenerational community building and feelings of safety and belonging for BIPOC, Queer, Trans, women and other marginalized communities?

Your teams are navigating more complexity and uncertainty than ever before. Our custom learning experiences will leave your teams with tools and frameworks that build their confidence in unpacking complex topics together and working through difficult conversations.

Research and Stakeholder Engagement

Listen and learn from your community

We help you create spaces that centre trust and help you listen before you take action.

Our focus group design and research methodology have helped leaders in government spaces, large corporations, and grassroots movements unearth old patterns, articulate current challenges and co-imagine future possibilities.

We can also harness our media arm to launch surveys and tap into our diverse network of community leaders and a 186,000 cross-Canadian audience to uncover perspectives, values, and trends on topics and issues of interest.

A Backwards Way

Into Future-Focused

Social Impact Consulting

Did you know that Group Project Initiatives is an accidental pandemic baby?

When Samanta Krishnapillai came up with Group Project Initiatives (formerly On Canada Project Inc) in April 2020, her only motivation was to meet the needs of Canadians by creating a temporary grassroots passion project to support people in navigating disinformation around the pandemic.

The unexpected success of growing OCP to become Canada's largest community-media account on Instagram led to Samanta envisioning how OCP could go from a temporary tool for social good to a long-term force for good.

In April 2021, OCP transitioned from a passion project into a social enterprise business equipped with a consulting arm (Good Trouble Studios) that finances our social good initiatives. This transition resulted in Gina Uppal joining the team in July 2021 to help lead and sustain Group Project Initiatives' social good mandate.

So, yes, our journey may seem a little unconventional and a little backward, but sometimes the most extraordinary adventures are the ones you stumble intofueled by enthusiasm, grounded in your unique superpower and starting with a leap of faith.

– and lucky for you, our superpower, expertise and enthusiasm are officially for hire because Good Trouble Studios is open for business.
