  • From its inception as a grassroots passion project in 2020, On Canada Project Media, a division of Group Project Initiatives (formerly OCP INC.,) has evolved into a unique and influential organization with ambitious goals for making a significant impact in our world. Today, we stand as a pioneering entity in the landscape of social change, primarily funded through the profits from our consulting arm, Good Trouble Studios, and bolstered by the generous support of our community through our first-ever fundraising initiative. While we are currently navigating our growth phase, with plans to expand into full-time employment opportunities in early 2024, we offer a range of roles that are pivotal to our continued evolution and success.

Marketing & Sales Lead

  • The Growth, Marketing, and Sales Specialist will spearhead initiatives across all three divisions of Group Project Initiatives, focusing on expanding our reach, enhancing engagement, and driving revenue through innovative marketing strategies and robust sales efforts. Community Growth Manager

  • As the Community Growth Manager with a focus on Strategic Partnerships at On Canada Project (OCP), you will play a pivotal role in expanding our reach and impact. Your primary responsibility will be to cultivate and manage relationships that align with OCP's mission of promoting human rights and fostering inclusivity. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, digital savvy, and a passion for community engagement.

    • Develop and manage strategic partnerships with organizations and communities that align with OCP's values and objectives.

    • Facilitate shared virtual spaces and events to promote engagement, education, and collaboration.

    • Demonstrate strong organizational skills in planning, executing, and evaluating partnership initiatives and community events.

    • Maintain and update OCP's digital presence, particularly through Squarespace, ensuring a dynamic and engaging user experience.

    • Utilize design tools such as Canva to create compelling visual content that supports our partnership and community initiatives.

  • At On Canada Project (OCP), we are looking for a Copywriter/Content Strategist who embodies our ethos of challenging neutrality, advocating for human rights, and fostering inclusivity. In this role, you will be instrumental in crafting narratives that not only inform but also inspire action and change. Your content will be a key part of our efforts to redefine Canadian issues in a way that represents the rich diversity of Canada and centers the experiences of marginalized communities.

    • Develop and execute a content strategy that aligns with OCP’s mission, values, and goals.

    • Write, edit, and oversee the production of compelling content across various platforms, including social media, our website, and other digital channels.

    • Collaborate closely with our founder to ensure content is consistent with broader campaigns and OCP’s overall messaging.

    • Analyze content performance and user engagement to refine and adapt strategies, ensuring maximum impact and reach.

    • Create content that challenges existing narratives and promotes critical thinking and inclusivity.

Executive Administrative Support & Assistance

  • On Canada Project is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Executive Assistant and Admin Coordinator to support our CEO. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring efficient management of the CEO’s schedule, optimizing their time and focus for strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication and organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks with a high degree of professionalism and discretion.

    • Manage and coordinate the CEO's schedule, including meetings, appointments, travel arrangements, and other commitments.

    • Act as the first point of contact for the CEO, handling correspondence, calls, and emails.

    • Organize and prepare for meetings, including gathering documents and coordinating logistics.

    • Provide proactive support in managing and prioritizing daily tasks and long-term projects.

    • Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and other executive documents.

    • Facilitate effective communication between the CEO and other staff members, stakeholders, and partners.
