The Ministry of Interior will begin the process of deporting members of the Hebrew community within 60 days.

After 53 years of residence in the country, and a great contribution in a variety of fields including service in The IDF, representation of the country in international conferences and media, raising awareness of veganism in the country, it is possible that in 60 days many members of The African Hebrew Israelites in Dimona could be deported.

Since our migration to Israel, we have greatly contributed to Israel in various ways. We declared that we are an integral part of the ′′Nation of Israel′′ and were received with open arms but with the changing of the law of return in 1970, and the revoking of the citizenship from those who initially received it our political struggles ensued.

We cannot allow this deportation to take place, because if it does it will threaten the entire existence of our people in this land.”

We ask The Israel Minister of The Interior to keep Dimona families together and to create a just pathway to citizenship for undocumented Dimona members.
