Having departed Germany on her maiden voyage last night, the new 111.5-metre Lürssen motor yacht TIS has been handed over to its owner following a successful sea trial and outfitting process after the yacht’s launch in August 2018. TIS is the first of two 90+ metre projects to be completed by the German builder together with Moran Yacht & Ship this year, as the 95-metre superyacht Madsummer draws ever closer to her delivery date this summer. 
Now heading for Mediterranean waters where she will spend the summer season, TIS was commissioned by an experienced charter client of Moran Yacht & Ship who has spent time on board some of the finest charter yachts over the years. “This experience has led to owner input on nearly every level, from guest accommodations to propulsion package selection, all the way to crew area design,” commented Moran. 
Built to a design by Winch Design, TIS comes complete with its own 12-metre swimming pool on the main deck aft, two helicopter pads and a resort-inspired spa area at beach club level. 
Two 13-metre tenders will transfer guests and crew to shore and a variety of watersports toys will make for hours of fun at anchor. Up to 16 guests will be accommodated across the eight guest staterooms on board in addition to the spacious master suite located on the private owner’s deck.
