Hardman Studios was founded in 2019 by Dale Hardman, a multi-instrumentalist/engineer who wanted to record his own music, start endless new musical projects, and help to record and produce Adelaide artists that he believed in.
Starting with just a Focusrite 2i2 and no acoustic treatment, the studio has come a long way, now spanning across two rooms with full drum recording, and going from a single 2i2 to both an Atruria Octopre and a Focusrite 18i20. The studio is equipped for anything from podcasting recordings to vocal sessions, to full band recordings with all the members playing at the same time including a full drum kit.
Songs, albums, jams, covers and all sorts have been produced at HS, and in 2020 Dale began pushing forward his flagship artists, Kel Ray and Farú. Since then, both artists have grown an organic fanbase and seen radio-play locally and playlist placement on many large Spotify playlists.
At this point there are 5 registered and working artists on the HS label, which you can find more out about in the "artists" tab. With several more projects to be added, expect to see a full roster of Adelaide artists spanning most genres of music
HS artists have been played on many SA radtio stations from community and local radio to major radio stations like Fresh FM 92.7, where multiple HS artists have had on-air interviews. Artists from the studio have received thousands of plays across streaming services and received attention and praise from many fans and engineers across the world, including Warren Huart, owner of Produce Like a Pro, one of the largest youtube channels for audio engineering (engineer on the no. 1 single "How to Save a Life" by the Fray)
