Hi Buddies! 👋
The Buddy System connects creates memories and friendships by pairing up new foreign students with local hosts ✨.
The program was established to help internationals smoothly integrate into local life and to give local students an opportunity to gain experience through cultural exchange 💬🗺️.

Join us if you'd like to:
• make international friends,
• learn new languages and cultures,
• discover the local environment and cuisine,
• have someone help you find your way around the city – or you'd like to be someone's guide!
Buddy applications for the fall semester usually open in July and applications for the spring semester – in December.
Once the applications open, you will receive an email from your exchange coordinator about the start of the recruitment. If you apply outside of the recruitment period, you will be matched in the nearest Buddy semester.
