Hi! I'm Jimpy Anarcon. I have been a media practitioner for nearly a decade with demonstrated experience in the publishing and live streaming industry.

I was a content producer and editor for PEP.ph for seven years, which honed my skills in writing different types of SEO-friendly digital content. I also pioneered conceptual feature series, such as the Anatomy of a Teleserye, which is part of the Top 40 Evergreen Articles across all Summit Media titles.

I also spearheaded the production of PEP.ph’s flagship talk show, PEP Live, as its on-cam host and writer, conceptualizing different formats and segments for more engaging content for the audience and for our celebrity guests!

After PEP.ph, I had a short stint in Kumu as Senior Category Officer for Film, TV, and Showbiz, where I ideated campaigns and content aligned with my category.

Currently, I work as the editor-in-chief of FreebieMNL, a fast-rising publication that successfully pivoted from being a voucher shop to a lifestyle-entertainment website. Here, I spearheaded content strategy, meticulously curated articles about pop culture and lifestyle, interviewed celebrities and personalities, and cultivated strong relationships with PR and media professionals. I also produce shoots and write cover stories about fast-rising celebrities.

I also have my own podcast, ReWINEd: A Throwback Podcast, which takes a deep dive into our favorite Pinoy pop culture memories, stories behind our favorite TV shows, and iconic moments with our favorite celebrities.
