Broken links cost. They cost engagement, they cost revenues, they cost loyalty. They create immediate barriers for users who encounter them, often leading to abandoned customer journeys.
Linkinbio pages are super useful to avoid broken links, as they allow you to update your links only once, rather than updating each social media platform individually when changes occur. However, this doesn’t mean we always remember to update our linkinbio pages and all their components (icons, links, buttons, etc.).
That’s why today, we are thrilled to launch a new utility for our UNIQUE users: Check Broken Links. You can find it under Tools.
This innovative automation from Lnk.Bio will scan your entire linkinbio page upon request, searching for broken URLs, and assist you in fixing them immediately.
The scan takes approximately 5 minutes (depending on the number of Links you have), and we scan up to 200 Links per account, including standard links, icons, buttons, etc. The scan can be run once per week.
Upon completion of the scan, you will receive a report listing all broken links. You will then have the option to click on each broken link and fix it directly.
Please note that this tool is quite complex and is currently in the testing (Beta) phase. Not all websites provide clear indications when a URL is broken, so there may be both false positives and false negatives. However, it should offer a good indication of your current status, and we are working to minimize inaccuracies as much as possible.
