Donations and Support from fans are a staple for Influencers, Activisits, Educators and many others. It's how we keep our work going, and how we are able to take few hours off the 9-to-5 job to produce awesome content.
Listening to your feedback and suggestions we understood that we should give more visibility to the Donation/Support options. So Today, we release a brand new Donation/Support Box, available for all our users, paid and free.
The Donation/Support Box allows you to receive donations to your PayPal account directly from your Lnk.Bio profile or to link to external services (Cash.app, Venmo etc...) in a much prominent way. Please note that we don't detract a fee/keep a percentage of the donations you receive: the money go directly to your PayPal account, we merely help with the connection.
To get start with the Donation/Support Box, head over to Style => Sections and scroll down a bit until you see Donation/Support Box, as shown below:
The activation is pretty straightforward: use the Slide to activate the Donation/Support Box, then add your PayPal email (make sure it's the correct one, as you'll receive the donations there!) and click Save. That's it!
To your visitors, the Donation/Support Box will appear like a link at the top of the profile:
When a user taps on the Support/Donation Box, it will expand, showing the donation form and the optional other donation services. Here's how it looks expanded:
