Pronouns.page is a free, multilingual directory where you record the names and pronouns you go by, with examples of how to use them. With the new Lnk.Bio integration, you can now embed your card directly on your page.

It is for anyone who would rather answer that up front than field the question one message at a time.

What is Pronouns.page?

Pronouns.page is a community-run project that runs in 24 languages, each on its own site. You build a profile with the names you use, your pronouns, and the words you want applied to you. Every entry is marked as preferred, acceptable or not used, so the card carries nuance rather than a single label.

It is used by people whose pronouns are not guessable from their name, and by anyone working across languages where pronouns do not map onto each other.

How does it work with Lnk.Bio?

Lnk.Bio supports the official Pronouns.page embed code. Copy it from your own profile and your card appears on your Lnk.Bio page, in the language you copied it from.

To add one, open your Lnk.Bio dashboard, then go to:

My page → Content → Add Block → Embed → Pronouns.page

Paste the embed code and save.

Why should you use it?

Embedding Pronouns.page on your Lnk.Bio page is ideal for:

  • Trans and nonbinary people who would rather not repeat themselves

  • Anyone whose name is read differently in different languages

  • Speakers, writers and performers who get introduced by strangers

  • Teachers, healthcare workers and organisers who meet new people daily

  • Multilingual creators whose pronouns differ from one language to the next

Visitors get the answer where they already are, without leaving your page.

How to set it up

  1. Create your profile on Pronouns.page and fill in your names and pronouns

  2. Add any words, flags or pronunciation you want the card to show

  3. Open your profile and choose Embed code from the options below it

  4. Copy the code you are given

  5. Open your Lnk.Bio dashboard and navigate to My page → Content → Add Block → Embed → Pronouns.page

  6. Paste the code and save

Your card will now appear directly on your Lnk.Bio page.

Answer the question before it is asked

A link in bio is where people land before they write to you, tag you or introduce you on stage. Putting the card there means the information arrives first.

The card follows the language of the site you copied it from, so a multilingual audience gets the version that applies to them.
