We are very happy to announce a new option available in your Lnk.Bio dashboard: the Open in Browser Notice.

When someone clicks your Lnk.Bio from Instagram or TikTok, they land inside the internal browser of those apps. These in-app browsers have some limitations, blocks, and sometimes are incompatible with advanced features such as deeplinking, interactive embeds, maps, or payment forms. Users are also not logged into their accounts inside the in-app browsers. This can create friction and can even cause some visitors to leave before engaging with your content.

With the new Open in Browser Notice, you can display a clear and friendly guide that helps your visitors open your page in their default browser, such as Safari or Chrome.

How to activate the notice

Turning it on is quick and simple:

  1. Go to My Page in your Lnk.Bio dashboard.

  2. Select More.

  3. Choose Notice.

  4. Enable it for Instagram, TikTok, or both.

From that moment, every time someone opens your page from those apps, they will see the instructions to open it in their default browser, while still having the choice to continue inside the app if they prefer.
