We’ve got great news - one of the most requested features is finally here! Thanks to your suggestions, you can now display your icons in their official brand colors, instead of being limited to your Lnk.Bio template color.
Whether it’s Spotify green, PayPal blue, or Instagram’s iconic gradient, your favorite platforms can now appear just as they were meant to - visually recognizable and vibrant.
How to activate official colors
To ensure you can customize your page as much as you want - having some icons in their original colors and others using your Lnk.Bio template - you can choose whether official colors are applied on a per-icon basis.
Getting started is simple:
- Head to the Style section in your Lnk.Bio account
- Click on the icon you want to update
- Toggle the “theme colors” switch to “official colors”
Your icon will instantly adopt its original brand color, creating a more dynamic and recognizable experience for your visitors.
Why it’s a win
- Instant recognition: Brand colors help users quickly identify platforms
- More visual impact: Icons stand out, especially on minimalist or neutral templates
- Flexible design: Mix and match theme-colored and brand-colored icons
- Trust and professionalism: Using official colors adds credibility to your links
When not to use it
- Visual consistency: If your page includes many icons or elements, using a single color helps maintain a clean, uniform look
- Minimalist design: Template colors can create a more subtle, polished aesthetic—ideal for minimalist layouts
- Brand alignment: If your brand has a strong color identity, using theme colors keeps everything visually on-brand
- Reduced distraction: Unified icon colors can help keep focus on your content rather than the icons themselves
Official colors are currently available for the 500 most-used icons on Lnk.Bio. If you don’t see one yet, you can suggest it directly from the Suggestions page.
We’re thrilled to keep improving Lnk.Bio based on your ideas—keep them coming!
