As a black-woman owned business, the Lnk.Bio team is super proud of Today's release: Social Causes ❤️
The Lnk.Bio fam (all plans, FREE included) can now create an additional page to contain all the Social Causes you love and support.
To get started with Social Causes, head over to the My Pages section and swipe left to access the Add Social Causes Page button, as shown below:
Once you add the page, you'll be able to search and add your causes. Each cause will be represented by a badge/button in your profile. Clicking on such button will bring your visitors to the Google Search page for that cause, already in their own country/language. This is an example of how it looks like depending on the colors you've set up for your account:
The buttons' titles and links are not editable to avoid abuse from hate groups.
There are several reasons why we didn't create a pre-filled collection of resources:
🌍 Social Causes is thought to be 100% international, while other providers are US/UK specific only;
- We've included 37 Social Causes and are continuosly including more. This woulnd't be possible with a pre-filled list;
- You can still use regular Lnks on your main page to share with your followers specific Social Cause Grassroots/NGOs that you want to highlight.
In general, a pre-filled list of resources is a cheap way to say you did something, without actually caring about a cause enough to do some self-education. Read about Performative Activism.

Only Social Causes that are about equality and love ❤️ will be considered.
