Después del éxito de su primer álbum, «Shapes of Silence», aplaudido por la crítica, Aleph Quintet supera límites con la presentación de un nuevo proyecto.

Los cinco músicos bruselenses, ámpliamente reconocidos en la escena musical internacional, regresan con "Hiwar", un álbum que resalta su identidad musical: una fusión audaz de jazz moderno y música tradicional del norte de África.

En árabe, «Hiwar» significa «diálogo», una palabra que resume perfectamente el espíritu de esta obra: un intercambio de celebración de culturas, patrimonios e innovaciones. Este diálogo significa la esencia de la búsqueda mutua de comprensión y autenticidad.

En la exposición de pensamientos, creencias y emociones, el “Hiwar” genera un espacio donde reflexionan las identidades, aprendiendo unas de otras. Cada miembro del quinteto aporta su universo y su experiencia, creando una visión colectiva poderosa, arraigada y contemporánea.

Aleph Quintet ha recibido numerosos reconocimientos, «Révélation» de Jazz Magazine, «4 étoiles» de Soir, «Meilleur album de jazz Belge» de Jazz à Liège, «Prix de la Presse Musicale Française», «Tanit d’argent» de Journées Musicales de Carthage. Además, el grupo ha actuado a lo largo del pasado año en países como Bélgica, Francia, España, Alemania, Túnez, Jordania, Inglaterra, Escocia, etc.

After the critically acclaimed success of their debut album, Shapes of Silence, Aleph Quintet pushes boundaries with the release of a new project.

The five Brussels-based musicians, widely recognized on the international music scene, return with Hiwar, an album that highlights their musical identity: a bold fusion of modern jazz and traditional North African music.

In Arabic, Hiwar means "dialogue," a word that perfectly encapsulates the spirit of this work: a celebratory exchange of cultures, heritage, and innovations. This dialogue embodies the essence of the mutual search for understanding and authenticity.

In the exposition of thoughts, beliefs, and emotions, Hiwar creates a space for reflection on identities, learning from one another. Each member of the quintet contributes their universe and experience, creating a powerful, grounded, and contemporary collective vision.
