La música de Maestro Mutante canaliza numerosas influencias de música negra, a través de un enfoque personal que da rienda suelta a un eclecticismo donde se amalgaman lenguajes urbanos, ritmos híbridos de nusoul, rnb, hiphop, funk, latin,… y armonías un tanto jazzísticas. El sonido de la banda propone un lugar de confluencia de sintonías deslumbrantes, texturas sonoras y cadencias sensuales, a veces luminosas y a veces oscuras.

El grupo surge a finales de 2018 en Jerez de la Frontera, a partir del encuentro del guitarrista Alfredo Sampalo y el bajista Fali Abad. Con la premisa de crear un proyecto de música creativa basada en el groove, empiezan a esbozar composiciones que suman la voz solista de Aryma y posteriormente, los teclados de Oscar Plazaola y la batería de Nolín Cuesta.

Su nuevo trabajo, Germinario, se presenta en abril de 2025, nueve temas auténticamente especiales y cautivadores. Es el primer larga duración del grupo, después de haber publicado un sencillo y tres EP, y la consolidación del sonido genuino de la banda y un viaje a la raíz sureña de sus componentes.

Maestro Mutante's music channels numerous black music influences through a personal approach that unleashes an eclecticism that blends urban languages, hybrid rhythms of nusoul, R&B, hip-hop, funk, Latin, and somewhat jazzy harmonies. The band's sound proposes a confluence of dazzling melodies, sonic textures, and sensual cadences, sometimes bright and sometimes dark.

The group emerged in late 2018 in Jerez de la Frontera, following the meeting of guitarist Alfredo Sampalo and bassist Fali Abad. With the aim of creating a creative music project based on groove, they began to outline compositions that featured Aryma's solo vocals and later, Oscar Plazaola's keyboards and Nolín Cuesta's drums.

Their new album, Germinario, will be released in April 2025, featuring nine truly special and captivating tracks. It is the group's first full-length album, after having released a single and three EPs, and the consolidation of the band's genuine sound and a journey to the southern roots of its members.
